Coromandel Bio Research & Development Centre was established in India, during the year 1992. Division works with the vision of "Winning Science Winning Solution its Biological" the Centre is exploring new horizons for innovative intellectual asset creation in cutting-edge research areas through unique ideas using the state-of-the-art research facilities. The R&D Centre, recognized by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India, is equipped with advanced instrumentation facility of international standard for performing leading-edge research in the areas of operations. R&D Centre is located in Thyagavalli village at Cuddalore with a build-up area of 5000 sq. ft. and 3-4 ac of cultivable area for conducting in-house trials. R&D unit is involved in multidisciplinary research and com mitted to provide innovative and eco-friendly products/solutions for safe and sustainable organic agriculture.

In addition to research on neem and plant extract for PGR properties, R&D also works in improvising the Azadirachtin based formulation and process to be in line with the market trends. The R&D is spreading its focus into new areas of research such as Microbial segment and water management segment.
